The Paul Show: Chicago
Recently I took a class from Chicago arts advocate, Paul Klien, which, he discribed on his website as THE KICKASS, GET YOUR CAREER IN GEAR, SOLUTION TO HOW YOUR ART IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU. The course was totally worth doing. I was deeply moved to discover how much heart and passion there is at all levels of the art world. Collectors, dealers, even the pr department of a major museum--everybody we met was drawn by the flame of their own quest for the numinous. Or the voice of the heart speaking. Or a door into amazement. Whatever you call it. You know what I mean.
Anyway, at the end of the class we decided to have a show. Here are some shots of the opening event. All the photos shown here were taken by Don Marshall, who is a brilliant fashion photographer.
