Studio Visit
On most days, my studio is a private space, a sanctuary for work and risky dreams. But,in like the old medieval calendars, there is ordinary time and there is celebration time, so on certain celebratory days, I open my studio for visitors.
One of these celebration days occurs every April on the Champaign day of the Boneyard Art Festival, when I and many other artists open their doors to all and sundry.
Other studio visits are group events scheduled through organizations such as Cinema Gallery and 40 North. This fall I, along with other Lincoln Building artists will be welcoming the Glen Ellyn Wheaton Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago.
But for a really good conversation, a personal studio visit is the best.
